University students’ preference for flexible teaching models that foster constructivist learning practices

In recent years, universities have intensified their use of technologies and implemented various modes flexible teaching. This study sought to demonstrate that students prefer flipped learning with combined forms synchronous asynchronous foster constructivist practices. To this aim, two case studies (N = 221) for online teaching at face-to-face during the 2020–2021 academic year are presented. Results show appreciate models social practices, autonomous access consultation resources, self-regulation time management consciousness needs. Such virtual self-paced results in more productive interactive real-time classes. combination instruction is preferred by attending hybrid Overall, demonstrates classroom adapts well first-year undergraduate students. effectively constructivism through university contexts, course design should consider both spaces, amplifying opportunities learn autonomously collaborate get feedback contexts.
